MIICE toolboxes
The MIICE toolbox is the main incarnation of the MIICE quality framework, which articulates the criteria by which we can measure progress in the quality of learning and teaching in general
There are several versions
- Summary - a short (2 page) summary of the 13 outcomes and 41 components
- Full - this is the full articulation of all 13 outcomes, at level 2 (fair) and level 4 (very good)
- Level 4 only - updated (2005) articulation of all 13 outcomes at level 4 (very good) only
- Auditor - this is the same as the reader version with the addition of active text frames into which you can record the evidence on which you will make judgements
- HGIOS and MIICE - John Ferrie of Inverclyde Council has taken material from one of the MIICE discussion papers which will help you to link (self) evaluation for How good is our school? and the MIICE quality framework at the same time
All MIICE toolbox material is available in both AppleWorks/ClarisWorks (v5) and Word formats
